Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Ezzat, President of Ain Shams University, opens the sixth scientific research forum for young researchers entitled "Dynamic Identity in the Age of Globalization in Literature, Language and Translation". The Department of Graduate Studies and Research at the faculty organizes the forum in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdul Nasser Sengab, Deputy Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Dr. Nazmi Abdul Hamid, Vice President for Community Service and Environment Development, Prof. Dr. Abdul Fattah Saud, Vice President University for Education and Students Affairs and Prof. Dr. Mona Fouad, Dean of the faculty. This will be at 10 am on Tuesday, March 12 at the faculty conference hall. Prof. Dr. Salwa Rashad, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, stated this.

She explained that the opening session of the forum will witness the presence of a number of public figures, intellectuals and culture in Egyptian society, including Dr. Ahmed Sweilem poet and critic in the activities of the opening session of the sixth scientific research for young researchers with a session entitled "Arab cultural identity in the era of globalization." She pointed out that the forum will witness over the course of three days a number of rich sessions that discuss topics specialized in cultural studies in identity in the era of globalization and is a precedent for the Faculty of Al-Alsun University of Ain Shams. She explained that the Faculty launched last year a forum that deals with inter-studies within the overlap of science and cognitive fields.

She pointed out that the second day of this forum will witness a major session entitled "Arabic language and support of identity policies in Egypt" chaired by Prof. Khaled Fahmy. In the third day, will witness a major session entitled "Translation and Identity: the battle of the classical and the colloquial in Egypt" chaired by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Riad, and others entitled "Translation between specialization and professionalism... Contemporary models" headed by the journalist and critic Ehab Al-Mallah.

Prof. Salwa Rashad stressed that the forum this year comes in light of the events witnessed by the world with the fall of the Soviet Union at the beginning of the last decade of the twentieth century and the collapse of the Eastern bloc. The world is living under the domination of a single pole. The United States led the world. The term "globalization" is a concept of a new form of hegemony under the slogan: "The world is becoming closer and more integrated Money, goods, services and information, the transfer of concepts, convictions, vocabulary and patterns of living among cultures and civilizations and make them possible.

Indeed, transformations have become fast and amazing in their speed. In the era of globalization, the trend of blurring the diversity and diversity of cultures has been reflected in an attempt to submerge it into a single global culture, a one-pole culture. In this direction, globalization sought to abolish the peculiarities of cultures, that is, to abolish the identity of peoples and communities and to abolish cultural, intellectual and linguistic diversity in favor of one language and one culture, the one-pole culture of the United States of America.

In this sense, the study of the impact of globalization on identity deserves accountability and debate, since globalization has become an objective reality that must be dealt with and not merely denied or condemned.
